Mohammed CHGHAF
PhD. in Robotics. Indoor/Outdoor Localization & HD Mapping Research Engineer. GIS Specialist.
I am an indoor and outdoor geolocation & HD mapping research engineer. I specialize in data fusion, real-time tracking, and embedded AI solutions for perception and pose estimation. My work bridges academic research and industrial application, collaborating closely with scientists and industry partners to advance robust localization and mapping technologies for robotics, autonomous vehicles, digital twins, and geolocation systems.
I completed my PhD in 2023 from Paris-Saclay University, where I worked at SATIE Laboratory under the supervision of Sergio Rodríguez Flórez and Abdelhafid El Ouardi. My doctoral thesis investigated data fusion techniques for multimodal SLAM on embedded systems, enabling efficient real-time localization and mapping for automated driving. Prior to my PhD, I graduated from Paris-Saclay University (Embedded Systems & Data Fusion) and Mohammadia School of Engineers (Automation & Control).
